VIDEO OF THE WEEK

Is working "harder" really the secret to success?

Seems like a simple question to answer.

Some will say you just gotta "lock in" and "hustle harder bro"...even some entrepreneurs I respect espouse the idea of a 6 or even 7 day work week.

On the other side of the convo, a new crop of internet gurus will lead with headlines like, "Last month I made 42043523 GAGILLION DOLLARS and only worked 2 minutes a day in between my morning poop and workout sesh" 🙄

The more I'm in the trenches myself, the more I'm learning the answer to the question, "Is working "harder" really the secret to success?" lays somewhere between

No.....and yes.....

In some areas (and during certain seasons), you'll work harder than you ever have, and then in others you'll feel like you're barely doing anything.

Overall in my experience, the attitude that I've found yields the best outcomes for me is one of "curiosity".

I go deep on a new arena I want to learn for a concentrated period of time, then once I get a decent/good grasp of it, I quickly look to offload this to a person or process.

Doing this allows a continual cycle of growth, leverage and increasing ease.

I talk about this and a few more concepts in my latest video "How To Build A Thriving Business Without Burning Out".

Enjoy and let me know your thoughts in the comments.

That’s it for this week

Love you,

Shopé

P.S. New music really is on the way!
