SORRY Media Press Release

NEW MUSIC: 'SORRY' by Shope 🙏🏿

SHOPE CONTINUES HIS WHIRLWIND YEAR WITH ANOTHER FOOT-FRIENDLY SINGLE, "SORRY"

TORONTO, CANADA - November 1, 2019 - Why do we often hurt the ones we love the most? How do we fix the damage we caused? While healing may take time, one cannot underestimate the power of one simple word, “Sorry”.Shope’s new single by that name, boldly dives headfirst into themes of forgiveness and reconciliation. Unashamed to admit his own flaws, he says,

"[Sorry] came from a very deep and personal place. Sometimes the pain you cause can be so deep, only the long road is left. You can’t fast track healing, so you can’t get tired of saying sorry”

As always, Shope continues to sonically bridge his Western and African cultures, although “Sorry” decidedly sits very comfortably in his Nigerian pocket. That being said, western ears (and feet) can delight in another masterful sonic offering, delivered by a self-assured artist perfectly at home in his own lane. The single will be available everywhere music retails online!
