Tell A Man Music Video Press Release (Media Outlets)

đŸŽ„ NEW "Tell A Man" VIDEO from ShopĂ© THIS FRIDAY!

SHOPÉ LAUNCHES 2021 CAMPAIGN ON AN AUDACIOUS TONE, WITH RELEASE OF "TELL A MAN" MUSIC VIDEO

TORONTO, CANADA - March 5, 2021 - The release of ShopĂ©'s, RIKIKI EP in 2020, saw the Nigerian-Canadian embrace the duality of his cultural personhood with a level of candour hardly seen in today's music industry. Continuing with that theme of transparency, ShopĂ© illustrates another dimension to his personhood - a stronger, more assertive side. A side that holds meekness does not equal weakness.“Tell A Man” is a simple reminder that one's patience and kindness are not to be confused for cowardice. The song echoes a desire for peaceful and amicable resolutions, but quips at the singer's readiness to take the necessary means to resolve conflicts. Although more serious in its subject matter, nothing is to be found lacking in the music video's sonic and visual qualities. ShopĂ© stays true to the catchy, world-class Afrofusion aesthetic, fans (and critics) have come to expect from him. This time, even mining flavours from UK Afrobeats. But this is not surprising for an artist known for blending African and Western influences.More self aware than ever, tell a man, ShopĂ© is not going anywhere. On March 5, the "Tell A Man" Music Video will be available at this OFFICIAL LINKIn the interim, watch an early preview of the music video HEREDJs & Radio Stations can download single packs HERE
