"THOSE WORDS" (NEW MUSIC by Shopé)

NEW SHOPÉ SINGLE 'THOSE WORDS' EXPLORES THEMES OF VULNERABILITY AND FEAR.

TORONTO, CANADA- November 19, 2021 - Trust and communication are the bedrock of any relationship. With these however, come a frightening level of exposure. To trust is to open oneself to hurt. To communicate is to open oneself to being misunderstood. Ultimately, to trust or communicate requires being vulnerable and leaning into all of the fears that come along with it. Shopé stridently explores these themes in his new song, 'Those Words'. A self-proclaimed introvert, Shopé says,

“'Those Words'" is for the vulnerable who are scared to be vulnerable. Sometimes the words you wanna say are right there, but getting them out is the hard part.”

On this single, Afrobeats and R&B/Soul come to play, and they play well together. Lush sounds, rhythmic guitar licks, an emotive pen and silky vocals, continue to solidify Shopé as an undoubtable star in the Afrofusion space. The single will be available EVERYWHERE music retails online!DJs & Radio Stations can download packs HERE
